During my student teaching experience, I met a child who came to school wearing the same clothes every day. While the teachers cared deeply and did everything they could, I realized I wanted to help children and families in ways that extended beyond the classroom. That experience led me to pursue a career in clinical mental health counseling, and it continues to remind me of why I love this work; bringing healing to those that deeply hurt.
I enjoy working with children, adolescents, adults, parents, and families. I have a particular passion for helping individuals who have experienced complex trauma (C-PTSD) and those who are neurodivergent. Whether you’re processing difficult experiences, supporting your child through a challenging season, or simply feeling overwhelmed by life, my goal is to meet you where you are and help you move toward healing.
Starting therapy can feel intimidating, so our first few sessions are focused on building trust and helping you feel comfortable. Because every client is different, the first session might look like talking through life’s challenges, playing a game, making art, or simply beginning wherever feels most natural. I believe healing happens best when you feel safe, heard, and supported.
Because every person’s story is unique, I tailor therapy to fit your individual needs rather than expecting you to fit one approach. My work is informed by EMDR, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Theraplay®, play therapy, somatic interventions, family systems, parts work, art therapy, animal-assisted therapy, yoga-informed practices, and Prepare/Enrich for couples. Together, we’ll find the approaches that best support your goals and your healing.
My hope is that, through counseling, you’ll experience a renewed sense of wholeness. Mental health struggles can leave us feeling like we’ve lost ourselves, but I believe that what has happened to you does not define who you are. My goal is to help you develop the skills, confidence, and resilience to move forward with hope while recognizing that healing is possible.
Outside of the counseling office, I enjoy spending time outdoors hiking and exploring Colorado’s creeks and rivers, playing on a recreational soccer team, watercolor painting with friends, and spending time with my six animals—three rabbits, two dogs, and one cat.
If you’re looking for a therapist who offers a warm, collaborative, and individualized approach to counseling, I’d be honored to walk alongside you as you pursue healing and hope.

Kaia
Hi my name is Kaia and I am a mixed sheep dog. I love playing fetch, adventuring, and playing with my friends. One of my favorite things to do though is listening to your story while helping you through hard times. Whether you need a few silly tricks, time to play with me, or some puppy snuggles, I am happy to give you all you need. I hope that we can become best friends.

Boeing
Hello my name is Boeing and I am an Australian shepherd. I do love playing tug at home but here at work, my favorite things to do are play hide and seek and snuggle. I want to help you through your hard days so that you can feel loved and cared for. I hope that we can become good friends and I can bring a smile to your face with my silliness and caring heart.
