I believe every person has a story, and often what people need most is a safe place to share that story without judgment. My goal is to provide a supportive environment where you feel heard, understood, and accepted as we work together toward healing, growth, and meaningful change.
Before becoming a therapist, I served for 24 years in the United States Air Force. During that time, I witnessed firsthand how trauma, life transitions, loss, relationship struggles, and unseen burdens can shape a person’s life. I also saw the remarkable resilience people demonstrate when they are met with understanding, support, and genuine connection. Those experiences taught me the value of trust, perseverance, and the importance of having someone who will walk alongside you during life’s most difficult seasons. They continue to shape the way I approach counseling today.
I work with adolescents, young adults, adults, older adults, couples, and families. While I welcome clients from all walks of life, I have a particular passion for working with military members, veterans, first responders, and their families. I also enjoy helping individuals navigate trauma, addiction, life transitions, relationship challenges, and emotional or spiritual wounds. Whether you are seeking support for a specific struggle or simply feeling stuck, I believe healing begins through connection, trust, and understanding. It is a privilege to support people through some of life’s most challenging and meaningful moments.
My therapeutic approach is eclectic in practice while remaining genuine, collaborative, and personalized. Because every person’s experiences, strengths, and goals are unique, I believe therapy should never follow a one-size-fits-all model. Instead, I tailor treatment to meet your individual needs, drawing from evidence-based approaches that best support your growth and healing.
At the heart of my work is a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, authenticity, and mutual respect. I strive to create an environment where you feel safe to be yourself, knowing you will be met with compassion rather than judgment. Along with providing thoughtful reflection, practical tools, honest feedback, and encouragement, I strive to help you move toward the life you want to build.
Together, we will explore your story, identify the obstacles that may be holding you back, and build on the strengths you already possess. My goal is not simply to help you manage today’s challenges but to equip you with lasting skills, greater self-awareness, and renewed confidence so you can move forward with resilience, clarity, and purpose.
Outside the counseling office, I enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring new experiences, continuing to learn, and investing in meaningful relationships. Those experiences remind me that resilience is built not only by overcoming life’s challenges but also by finding purpose, connection, and joy in everyday moments.
Whether you are seeking counseling for the first time or returning after time away, I would be honored to walk alongside you. Healing and lasting change are possible, and I look forward to helping you take the next step toward the life you want to create.
