I believe life makes more sense when we understand both our story and what we want to do with it. My role as a counselor is to walk alongside you as you make sense of where you’ve been, understand what may be keeping you stuck, and identify practical steps toward where you want to go.
I primarily work with adults navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, career concerns, grief and loss, and questions of purpose and calling. I especially enjoy working with people who want deeper understanding while also seeking meaningful change. My approach is relational, holistic, and collaborative. Together, we explore the connections between your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, relationships, values, and the experiences that have shaped you.
For clients who desire it, I integrate Christian faith and spirituality into counseling. I believe faith can be an important part of how we understand our identity, relationships, purpose, struggles, and hope, and I seek to create a space where you can explore these dimensions openly and authentically.
I have been a counselor for more than 20 years and spent nearly 15 years as a counselor educator. I continue to teach, supervise, and mentor counselors, drawing from a variety of approaches—including EMDR—to meet each client’s unique needs. Ultimately, I want counseling to be a place where we discover answers together and where you leave with greater clarity, confidence, and hope for what comes next.
When I’m not working, I enjoy riding our motorcycle with my husband, traveling, walking our two dogs, cooking, reading, and spending time with dear friends. I’m grateful for the people and everyday moments that make life meaningful.
