About Ryan Armstrong, Intern
I believe in the beauty and sacredness of each person’s story, and I consider it an honor to be invited into the stories of my clients. It is tremendously brave to open yourself up to another person, especially when you are struggling. I am convinced that everyone is doing their very best with the tools they have been given. Many of us just need to know that we are not alone on the journey. I have a passion for working with children and adolescents and doing what I can to help make a difference in their story. I also love to discover the child that is often hidden away in adults.
As I pursued my own career path, my journey took me in several directions. Along the way I realized that I wanted a life in which my personal and professional aspirations were one. In other words, I wanted to find a career worth giving my entire self to. I have found that in counseling. I am currently pursuing my MA in Counseling at Denver Seminary. Even though this is a second career for me, I believe it is the job that I had been searching for all along.
When I am not spending time with my clients, I live in Westminster with my wife and toddler.
I can’t wait to meet you!
